PROTURBO / PROTURBO REMAN PRODUCT LINE WARRANTY

• All Proturbo products are backed by a one (1) Year Limited Warranty.
• All Warranty claims must be authorized by Proturbo LLC Either by calling us at 512-992-0000 or email at sales@proturbo.us
• The one (1) Year Limited Warranty covers all manufacturer defects.
• Any modification to the Proturbo / Proturbo Reman product voids the one (1) Year Limited Warranty.
• The one (1) Year Limited Warranty does not cover :
  • Failures due to Improper installation or Maintenance
  • Failure due to Lack of low or contaminated lubricant
  • Over-temperature operation
  • Using liquid gasket or sealing compounds
  • foreign object Damage
• abuse, accidents, coating, fire damage, crash damage, shipping damage, improper component fitment, etc.

• All products are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and material for the period specified on your invoice. Your warranty begins from the date of purchase. The warranty applies only when installation instructions and manufacturer warranty requirements are followed in their entirety. Installation should be performed by a certified professional.Unless a separate, optional, and specific warranty is purchased to cover such, the warranty does not cover any expenses incurred in the removal, installation and / or reinstallation of the product. Specifically, this warranty does not cover any expenses for time, rental, or other products not purchased from us, and does not cover any labor. The warranty covers repairing or replacing the purchased part. The warranty is offered only to the original purchaser of the product. The warranty does not apply, and is void, if the product has been damaged by abuse, misuse, accident, neglect, or alteration, or if it has been repaired by anyone other than us. The warranty will be void if the product fails due to improper installation. If the product proves defective in material or workmanship within the warranty period, it shall be returned along with the original sales invoice. Your original dated invoice is required for warranty eligibility. The product will, at our option, be replaced or repaired free of charge and returned to the original purchaser.
• The express warranty set forth above is exclusive and no other warranties or any kind, whether statutory, oral, written, expressed or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose shall apply. There are no warranties which extend beyond the description on the face hereof. The consumers exclusive remedies for breach of warranty and our only obligation arising out of or in connection with breach of warranty shall be those stated herein. We expressly disclaim liability for incidental and consequential damages caused by the product.
• There are no other warranties stated or implied that extend beyond that described above or warrant fitness for a particular purpose other than stated for a given item. Please contact Proturbo or your dealer concerning warranty claims.
• Once the warranty claim is authorized Proturbo will provide the customer with a prepaid UPS Ground shipping label
• Diagnostic and resolution of the claim will be made within 1-2 weeks
• A credit or replacement of the unit will be sent if the unit is under warranty, Its a repair and replace NOT REFUND.
• No labor or ‘inconvenience’ charge may be included in any claims.
• When an item is sent to the manufacturer for a warranty claim, Proturbo will not provide a replacement. It is the Manufacturer’s discretion whether they will replace the item, or not.

INITIAL INSPECTION AND GENERAL CARE 

1. Carefully inspect the air cleaner, air cleaner duct, and the exhaust manifold for any foreign material. Objects left in these areas can severely damage the turbocharger immediately on engine startup. 
2. Remove old gaskets and left-over material from the exhaust manifold, the oil supply line and oil drain line flanges. Inspect these surfaces for cracks, flatness, or erosion. 
3. Inspect the oil supply and drain lines for degradation and cracking.  
4. Make sure that there are no kinks or any other type of restriction or clogging in either line.

BorgWarner Turbo Systems, Inc. (“BWTS”) warrants that its goods or merchandise will be free from defects in material and workmanship for its intended use and service. This warranty shall extend for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase by end user. BWTS will repair or provide a replacement product, at BWTS’s sole option, for any defective part. Replaced parts will be warranted in time only through the remaining period of this warranty. BWTS shall not be obligated to repair or replace any defective part unless it receives notice, in writing, within 14 days of discovery of a defect. Any action for breach of warranty, contract or otherwise, shall be barred unless BWTS is provided with notice as provided herein. Specifically excluded from this warranty are design defects or damage caused by improper installation, misuse, neglect, improper maintenance, handling or operation of the product or unauthorized repair or alterations or externally induced physical damage. Further, this warranty shall not apply if any person attempts to repair or replace the defective part without BWTS written authorization. Any auxiliary equipment sold hereunder and not manufactured by BWTS carries only such warranty as given by the manufacturer thereof and which is hereby assigned without recourse to BWTS. No warranty is made for any other claims or special, indirect or consequential damages (including but not limited to component removal or installation, equipment down time, prospective profits or other economic losses) because of any defect deemed warrantable by BWTS. This is BWTS’s sole warranty and is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including, without limitation, implied warranty of merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. No representative or distributor of BWTS has the authority to change or alter this warranty. This warranty may only be modified by an agreement signed by an authorized officer of BWTS. Any claim made under this limited warranty must be presented to BWTS, with valid proof of date of purchase by end-user. All merchandise or goods shipped to BWTS, for warranty consideration, must be shipped prepaid – freight. Collect shipments will be refused. No warranty on competition applications or applications not approved in writing by BorgWarner Turbo Systems.
